		<description>The San Antonio Texas Tea Party had 20,000 in attendance.  I was there and it was awesome!  Peaceful, friendly, well organized!  Looking forward to seeing more folks join in this movement!

		<description>The Tea Act lowered taxes, it didn't raise them.  Colonists dumped tea into Boston Harbor because they couldn't sell the cheaper tea they smuggled in from England for less money once the East India Trading Company didn't have to sell it for so much.  Call it an 18th Century bailout of that company.

		<description>There is a huge misunderstanding about the Boston Tea Party.  Colonists and smugglers were buying tea in England where it was cheaper and re-selling it in the American colonies, undercutting the East India Trading Company.  So, in response, King George CUT the taxes on the tea from the East India Trading Company which essentially killed the black market for colonists and they got upset and dumped tea into Boston harbor.

So all of these people protesting higher taxes by claiming to have another Boston Tea Party are actually ignorant of their own history.  Check it out:
